Artist Statement: Hand cut collage of multi-colored self-portraits stacked and glued, then razored. Music: “Faceshopping” by SOPHIE.

I mostly spread my creative time between writing poetry and creating hand cut collages. The majority of my work focuses on madness, trauma, and neurodiversity, and it tends to be very self-referential. I’m attempting to share more of my work via Instagram @poemsthatinjure.

Some cuts are removed cleanly, while some are ragged and falling off. Pieces of the collage are sticking out, creating a 3D effect around the face.
